Bangladesh Maritime University

Department of Accounting and Information Systems, Bangladesh Maritime University organized a
workshop on Income Tax Planning, Preparation and Filing of Online Income Tax at BMU Auditorium. The
workshop was conducted by Khandaker Md. Hasanul Islam, Deputy Director (Admin), BCS (Tax)
Academy as a keynote speaker and Joy Saha ACA, Manager (Taxation), ACE Advisory Limited as a session
speaker. The faculty members, officers, and staffs of the university participated the program physically.
Emranul Hoque, Assistant Professor, Department of Accounting and Information Systems moderated the
workshop.

The speakers focused on income tax planning, preparation and filing of e-return through online.
Commodore Md. Neamul Hasan, (L), BN, Dean, Faculty of Maritime Business Studies addressed the
participants and guest in his welcome speech. The department expressed their sincere gratitude to the
resource persons for their valuable time in conducting the workshop and participants for their active
participation. This capacity building workshop is a true testament of university’s concerns to its
employees and the country’s economic growth fostering the national economic development.
