Bangladesh Maritime University was established as per the 47 No act of 2013. In pursuant to the Act, BMU College, Academy and Institute Affiliation Statue -2018 has approved by the Honorable Chancellor and President of People’s Republic of Bangladesh. Bangladesh Marine Academy and Marine Fisheries Academy have been affiliated under BMU for four years Bachelor (Hon’s) Programme.

Responsibilities:

  • Affiliation of the government approved marine academy/institution.
  • Monitoring the academic and administrative activities of the affiliated institutions.
  • Assessment of quality of education of the affiliated academy/institutions.
