The Admission Tests for the First Year of the Undergraduate (Honours) programs of Bangladesh Maritime University for the 2025–26 academic session were successfully held on 30 and 31 January 2026, in two shifts each day.The Honourable Vice Chancellor of the University, Rear Admiral Dr. Khandakar Akhter Hossain, NBP, NUP, ndc, psc, PhD, visited the examination centres to oversee the proceedings.In the current academic session, a total of 23,133 applicants applied for admission against 200 seats in 5 programs under 4 faculties of the University. As a result, on average, 116 candidates competed for each seat in the admission test.For the convenience of the applicants, the admission tests were conducted simultaneously not only in Dhaka but also in Chattogram, Khulna, Rajshahi, and Rangpur. Necessary administrative and security measures were taken to ensure that the examinations were held smoothly and peacefully at all centres.
