The New Chief Executive of Institute of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology (IMarEST), London Chris Goldsworthy visited Bangladesh Maritime University and calls on honorable Vice Chancellor of Bangladesh Maritime University Rear Admiral Dr. Khandakar Akhter Hossain, NBP, NUP, ndc, psc, PhD on 14 October 2025. They had a fruitful discussion to build mutual collaboration, developing maritime higher education, research, technological support and overall betterment of maritime sector in the country. At that time Mr. Chris Goldsworthy assured the Vice Chancellor to whole hearted support to the journey of the university and expressed to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with BMU and IMarEST, London as well.
