On 12 May 2026, Commander Mohammad Farhad Hossen, Additional Registrar (MT) of Bangladesh Maritime University, attended a meeting at the Embassy of Malaysia in Bangladesh with the Malaysian High Commissioner. The discussion focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation in agro-machinery (specially silage machine) trade and facilitating mutual import-export opportunities between Bangladesh and Malaysia.
