About: Sheikh Fahim Faysal Sowrav is a dedicated oceanographer and lecturer at the Department of Oceanography and Hydrography, Bangladesh Maritime University. He holds both B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Oceanography, graduating first in his class in each. His expertise spans environmental health assessment, coastal vulnerability, remote sensing, and data science. Fahim has led and contributed to numerous nationally and internationally funded research projects, focusing on critical issues such as eutrophication, water quality, and ocean literacy. With a strong portfolio of peer-reviewed publications and conference presentations, he remains committed to advancing marine science through interdisciplinary research, academic leadership, and capacity building.
